Description
CJC-1295 is a synthetic tetrasubstituted 29-amino acid peptide analogue of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). It functions by binding to GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary gland, stimulating the production and release of endogenous growth hormone. Unlike natural GHRH, which has a very short half-life, CJC-1295 is modified to resist enzymatic degradation. The version containing the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) further extends this half-life by binding to circulating albumin, allowing for sustained elevation of growth hormone and Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1) levels over several days.
- Pulsatile GH Release: Research shows that it preserves the body’s natural pulsatile release of growth hormone rather than causing a static elevation.
- Anabolic Support: Studies indicate significant increases in protein synthesis, leading to improved muscle growth and physical recovery.
- Metabolic Efficiency: Data suggests enhanced lipolysis (fat loss) and improved glucose metabolism in research subjects.
- Skeletal Integrity: Preliminary research suggests potential benefits in increasing bone mineral density through elevated IGF-1 levels.
